The Heritage Betrayed – A Survey Into An Ignored Fact’ is a book that attempts to put into proper perspective, those significant accounts of Liberian tribes and their sacred abodes that were once glossed over by other actors who may not have been aware of those virtues, that were germane to tribal governments or movements. Those virtues kept tribal people together long before the arrival of the American Colonization Society. Some of those people also failed to notice that their complacency and negligence might play in the hands of Western opinions and beliefs that valued only written history.
